The Corinth Cycling/Harden Dental race team continues to gain momentum after capturing 1st place in the Mineral Wells Stage Race – Team GC 35+ 4/5. “This was a concerted effort by all and everyone did really great” noted The Shield. “Despite the weather, we all had a great time and by the end of the weekend we had turned in some amazing results to obtain our goal.”

The team has continued to press and train hard. Team members spent the past couple of weekends training hills in the Argyle area and followed up with a pre-ride of the Celina course over the weekend. If the hills in Mineral Wells weren’t enough, Celina offers up some steady rollers that are sure test everyone. It will be quite clear by the end of the race who has done their hill work and mental toughness will play a huge factor!

This weekend the team keeps things local with the Denton Crit at CH Collins Stadium on Saturday March 10th, followed by a road race on Sunday the 11th in Celina – Jesuit Ranger Roundup. The team would like to encourage club members and friends to come out and support the team. If you’ve never watched a crit or road race, they can be quite exciting and these are in our backyard. Just having supporters on the sidelines gives us a huge motivation to perform at our best.
